Fall or autumn in northern Saskatchewan may not be in the same league as Eastern Canada, or say what Vermont or New England might offer, but it's still pretty impressive. This simple fact of being out in among the trees, both with their colours and their fragrance, makes me feel like I've been reborn. All the noise and commotion of the city fades away when I take a minute to stop and just absorb the surroundings. The yellows and oranges of the poplars and aspens are nature's last hurrah before the cold snowy blanket arrives to cover her up for the next five to six months. Everyone should have the opportunity to experience Mother Nature in her fall colors.
